The Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group Queensland Chapter is delighted to announce a series of workshops delivered by artist and contemporary Jeweller Sarah Perkins.

In this 3-day workshop, Sarah will demonstrate a range of enamelling techniques, including underfiring, using silver foil, and making enamel tesserae and threads. 

The emphasis of this class will be on combining and layering techniques to create a unified composition suitable for making into a brooch. 

Sarah will also demonstrate a range of brooch findings and clasps so that participants can turn their enamelled piece into wearable art. 

This workshop is suitable for beginning enamellers with some jewellery-making experience.
